In this age of getting software for free, there’s some I pay for that is absolutely worth the money.

• YNAB ($109/yr)
  • I’ve tried other software to keep track of my finances, but this one has stuck.
• Bitwarden ($10/yr)
  • Great password manager, I pay for TOTP and to support them
• Basecamp ($31.88/mo)
  • I used it to plan my wedding, and trip planning was nice with it. I no longer pay for it, but I would again in a heartbeat.
• SourceHut ($2/mo)
  • I used to host this site there! Very slick interface, feels like someone knows how to use git and is teaching me as I go. Most decentralized forge I’ve found.
• Fastmail ($148.75 every 3 years per user)
  • My wife uses it too so we can share calendars and email aliases
  • My current email service. I love that it allows custom domains, masked emails, and has a super compliant WebDAV server! I also like their email client, and they make it easy to bring your own.
